Volunteers Make the Mission Possible
Volunteers are essential to the work of NCDF Foundation USA. Whether you are an educator, professional, entrepreneur, student, mentor, community leader, creative, researcher, fundraiser or organiser, there is a way to contribute.
The Foundation welcomes volunteers who can support education, mentorship, heritage programming, community development, programme coordination, donor engagement and professional advisory work. Volunteers should be motivated by public benefit, respect for communities and commitment to ethical conduct.
Volunteer Values
Integrity and accountability.
Respect for beneficiaries, families and communities.
Safeguarding awareness where programmes involve young people.
Cultural sensitivity and inclusion.
Confidentiality and responsible communication.
Commitment to the Foundation’s charitable mission.
Volunteer Onboarding
Volunteer onboarding should include a simple application form, role matching, orientation, safeguarding checks where appropriate, code of conduct acknowledgement, programme briefing and supervision arrangements.
